Medical equipment donation for SMC Laboratory
قامت مجموعة بازار شهرزاد الخيري بالتعاون مع جمعية البحرين لمكافحة السرطان بتسليم التبرع بجهاز متطور لفحص ومعالجة أنسجة العينات التي يتم استئصالها جراحيا إلى دائرة المختبر بمجمع السلمانية الطبي في شهر أغسطس 2020
يأتي هذا التبرع من منطلق الشراكة المجتمعية الذي تعمل الجمعية على تعزيز ومواصلة دعم وزارة الصحة لتقديم أفضل الخدمات الصحية والتشخيصية والعلاجية لمرضى السرطان في مملكة البحرين
يساعد هذا الجهاز الأخصائيين في دائرة علم الأمراض على جمع المعلومات المهمة من الناحية التشخيصية الأولية للعينات التي يتم استئصالها جراحيًا ولإجراء المزيد من الفحوصات المجهرية وتحليلها للوصول إلى التشخيص الدقيق لتقديم العلاج الناجع للمرضى
In Cooperation with the Bahrain Cancer Society (BCS), Shahrazad Charity Bazaar donated a state of the art “Mortech Elevating Pathology Grossing Station” to the Laboratory Department at Salmaniya Medical Complex in August of this year. This donation confirms the continuous efforts of both organizations in supporting the Ministry of Health to enhance and upgrade the level of services and expertise offered to cancer patients in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This cutting-edge technology enables Pathologists to inspect surgical specimens with the naked eye, allowing them to obtain initial, diagnostic information before samples are sent for further microscopic examination. This allows for vital information including the stage and margin status of excised tissue, to be identified early on, therefore reducing the time taken in deciding on optimum treatment plans for individual patients and leading to improved patient outcomes.
